About the event

Join Man at Sea as he officially launches his latest EP 'Love & Anxiety'.

Praised for his distinctive blend of introspective songwriting and soaring melodies and often compared to the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Thom Yorke, local songwriter Man at Sea's songs invite listeners to reflect on the strangeness of the human experience.

With his most brutally honest record to date, 'Love & Anxiety', Man at Sea weaves three hauntingly beautiful piano/string based songs together to capture a songwriter dealing with existential angst whilst coming to terms with the break up of a long term relationship. The EP is nothing less than an attempt to capture, in sound, the feeling of how anxiety can affect a relationship and how we sometimes have to break things in order to grow.

Recorded at Humm studios in Bristol with stunning musicianship from the local scene and mixed by local producers Tom Campbell (Michael Kiwanuka, SAULT, Boci) and Jacob Bright (My Octopus Mind) don't miss this opportunity to hear the songs premiered live for the very first time in the intimate space of The Fringe.
